The UMMC AAO
The Academic Affairs Office serves the academic and educational missions of UMMC. It provides leadership to, coordination among, and services for faculty and students of the medical center campus and outreach locations. The goal of the AAO is to encourage the pursuit of excellence in educational delivery to students in the academic health sciences and support the faculty who provide that delivery.
Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Helen Turner welcomes you to the home page for the Office of Academic Affairs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Turner serves as the Chief Academic Officer for five schools on the UMMC campus.
